Whether you are traveling with your family or spending a little time with your girlfriends, Ireland has plenty to offer. From cycling to dancing, there are so many fun activities for all of you to enjoy.
Ireland is famous for its many pubs! However, you’ll hardly find one better than the one owned by Grammy Award winning Flautist, Matt Molloy. As a member of the Chieftains, Matt Molloy has performed for audiences all around the world, making his pub one of the best-known pubs worldwide. Located in Westport, Matt Molloy’s Pub features delicious food and drinks while also featuring live music and dancing. If you are lucky enough, you may even witness Matt Molloy perform along with many other famous Irish bands, like CODA. While most American pubs aren’t meant for children, Ireland welcomes families of all ages to enjoy traditional Irish dancing and live music.

Cycling is a great way to explore a new city or region, especially when you are without a car. That is why we decided to stop at Greenway Bicycle Hire. Here we were able to rent bikes for our trip along the Gateway Greenway. Beginning in Westport and ending at Achill Island, travelers from all over the world come to ride this 26 mile walking and cycling trail. The trail traverses along the Atlantic coast through picturesque towns, magnificent mountains and the stunning Clew Bay. Be sure to stop in Newport and Mulranny to really make the most of your trip.
To truly appreciate the Wild Atlantic Way, be sure to stop by the Donegal Equestrian Centre. Here visitors can receive riding lessons on majestic Irish horses or take to the trail along the Tullan Strand. This beach is only accessible by horseback and is a great place to enjoy the beauty of nature. Known for their good temper, these Irish horses make the perfect companions for your ride. With stunning views of the cliffs on one side and the sea on the other, you’re bound to fall in love with the Emerald Isle.
Whether it’s the stunning views or the fun musical atmosphere, Ireland will make you want to return over and over again.
