We all know that traveling with little ones can be even more stressful than a day where you find you are out of coffee before you have a big meeting, but these five items will help lessen the stress by making traveling easier and more enjoyable.

 1) Doona

The Doona is an innovative car seat and stroller all in one, which provides parents with the ultimate ease in travel and mobility. In mere seconds the car seat pops up into stroller mode and vice versa. Not only is the duality of the Doona impressive, but when in car seat mode, this stroller can be installed into most vehicles without the click base, so when traveling, there is one less thing to lug along.

Traveling with the Doona is less stressful as there is less luggage to take with since you don’t need to pack a separate stroller and car seat, but rather have both conveniences in one great product. The Doona is recommended for infants 4-35 pounds, and up to 32″ tall.

 2) Wrapsody Ring Slings and LÍLLÉbaby – Baby Carrier

Whether you prefer a ring sling or a more structured carrier, this is a must have for any on-the-go parent. A beautifully crafted, lightweight, and supportive ring sling option are Wrapsody Ring Slings.

Wrapsody Ring Slings offer a variety of features, such as smaller rings for a more comfortable fit on individuals of all shapes and sizes. Each sling is crafted from a linen, which is known for its great strength and ability to keep those people wearing it 3-4 degrees cooler in hot weather (a great benefit for those moms and dads wearing a child close to them on those particularly hot days). In addition, the linen is blended with cotton to provide a huggable stretch for added comfort, increased fabric longevity, and reduced wrinkling of the linen.

On the other hand, a more structured carrier, such as a LÍLLÉbaby is a great choice. In particular, the LÍLLÉbaby Complete Airflow is a wonderful all-weather carrier. For more strenuous activities such as hiking or even those all-day festivals, this carrier has it all to make carrying your little ones easy and comfortable.

The COMPLETE grows with your child from 7-45 pounds. Most notably, the seat adjusts to keep baby ergonomically seated in six different positions through each development stage, front-fetal, front-infant, front-outward, front-toddler, hip and back carry. This carrier features a lumbar support which provides additional comfort and prevents lower back strain. As if the above weren’t enough features, there is also a removable sleeping hood attached to the carrier, which offers sun protection while out and about, added support for baby’s head while asleep, or privacy while nursing.

Overall, a carrier, whether it be a ring sling or more structured carrier is a must for any traveling parent. Ring slings are usually smaller for more ease of packing, but if your baggage allows it, or you wish to wear it through airport security, a more structured carrier may be a good choice, depending on if your travel agenda includes more vigorous activities and long days spent out.

 3)  Inglesina Fast Table Chair

If your vacation plans include being away for an extended period of time, or your child prefers routine during dinnertime, you might consider bringing the Inglesina Fast Table Chair (“Fast”). This table chair is for children between 6 and 36 months, who weigh no more than 37 pounds.
Not only can this be used at home, especially in those apartments with little storage space for bulky highchairs, but it is great for traveling and eating out at restaurants. The Fast features twist-tight couplings that leave tables scratch free. It is ultra-light, collapsible, and works with most tables.

Instead of worrying about having a highchair available while traveling, the Fast is an affordable and great option which can easily be taken with you.

 4) KidCo. TravelPod

A portable play yard that can double as a place for baby to sleep at nights is the KidCo. TravelPod. This play yard is best for ages birth to 3 and easily sets up in minutes. Most notably, this play yard comes in its own travel bag and is only 10.5 pounds, making it easy to bring and check as one of your luggage items during flights.

If you are staying at a hotel, it is a great alternative to hotel cribs, which baby might not be used to, or you may not feel are safe for baby. The TravelPod is truly a magnificent piece that is much more lightweight, affordable, and versatile than other similar products on the market today.

 5) OXO Tot On-the-Go Essentials

OXO Tot offers a great line of products that are wonderful for travel and everyday use. The On- the-Go Wipes Dispenser with Diaper Pouch keeps baby wipes and diapers clean and together for easy grabbing out of the diaper bag. OXO Tot also offers 12 Piece Baby Blocks containers in two different sizes (2 or 4 ounces). These make wonderful snack containers, as well as baby food storage containers, which are leak proof and easy to take with at a moment’s notice. In the alternative, if you are looking for a snack container that is spill-proof, look no further. OXO Tot offers a Flippy Snack Cup with Travel Cover that is a lifesaver! We all know there are those days where your little one wants to be independent and do it themselves, but then you end up with their crackers all over the floor and a crying child, but the Flippy Snack Cup’s flexible opening helps keeps snacks off the floor and in their little mouths when they want it.

Overall, traveling with a little one will always have its stressful moments, but for the travel trendy parent, there are definitely ways of making life with little ones that much easier. Embrace the tried and true products we have come to love, because the odds are that you will learn to love them too.
