Located in Donegal, Ireland, Lough Eske Castle was originally built in 1868 as a manor. Now the historic landmark serves as a hotel. Here guests can enjoy activities such as fishing, horseback riding, and archery all while experiencing Irish history and traditions such as afternoon tea.

If you are staying in county Clare, then head over to the Dromoland Castle. This castle dates back to the 15th century and now serves as a hotel. They offer plenty of activities, from hawk walks and horseback riding to clay pigeon shooting. We tried our hand at the clay shooting, a sport dating back to the 1800’s. And don’t forget to explore the grounds of this beautiful castle! You will learn about the castle’s history while being able to take in some stunning views.

For those looking for a home away from home, there is no better place than the Mulraney House. A traditional bed and breakfast, this newly remodeled house was originally built in the 1920’s. Here guests are welcomed to true Irish hospitality and delicious Irish home cooking while also enjoying the stunning views of the coast.

Last but certainly not least is the Delphi Resort. Do you enjoy a nice relaxing day at the spa? Then the Delphi resort is perfect for you. With an award-winning spa located in the beautiful Connemara mountains, guests can choose a nice day of relaxing. However if you are more of an adventurous type, take advantage of the many different activities the Delphi Resort offers on site. We loved the thrill of ziplining through the Delphi Valley!
