Talk about VIP treatment! The staff at the aquarium led our group on a fantastic behind the scenes experience with the sharks. We wish we had time to see even more exhibits, but now we have a good excuse to go back!
The Urban Pirates experience was our last shoot in Baltimore and it was so much fun! The ship itself is owned and operated by a fellow parent-entrepreneur and you can tell that she put a lot of thought into the experience offered to guests onboard.
With several buildings and an outdoor sculpture garden, AVAM is another place in Baltimore where you can spend an entire day exploring. The exhibits were so creative and we even got the chance to make some art of our own!
I LOVE FOOD! So a food tour is right up my alley! We were trying to get to three locations during the shoot, but we only made it to two.
We definitely did not have enough time to explore this amazing museum. What a treasure of information, artifacts and memorabilia of Baltimore sports.
We have some sports fans in our crew so the Babe Ruth Museum was really interesting for all of us and the collection was quite impressive. We had several families join us for the tour and it was fun to listen to some of the grandparents share stories about baseball and the Great Bambino with their grandkids.
The guest families who met us at the attraction were having the BEST time in the dress up area when we arrived! One of the families is actually a friend of the producer!
As we were getting organized, I was struck by Ft. McHenry’s significance in the War of 1812. What an opportunity we have as visitors to walk the grounds, go into the barracks and even raise the flag.
We had so much fun with our guest family getting messy and digging into the crabs. In fact, later that evening, we went back for dinner!
The Holiday Inn Inner Harbor was conveniently located for all of our shoots, the staff was very friendly the rooms were clean. We enjoyed the buffet style breakfast that was offered in the morning and appreciated that they were open nice and early!
