Head out of Madrid for Family Fun in Central Spain

Castilla-La Mancha is a region just southeast of Madrid, easily reached by high-speed Ave train or rental car. You can also take either mode of transportation from Madrid to the region’s capital city – Toledo – and I recommend making a trip to both cities (UNESCO World Heritage sites) plus, Consuegra, a small town not far from the capital.
