OUR EXPERIENCE WHILE ON SET

It was such a great opportunity to meet and speak with so many experts while on board the ship.  From the captain to the engineer to the head chef, we were able to learn about the inner workings of the cruise ship and how their work brings the ship to life. All of the members of the crew were not only friendly, but incredibly generous with their time. We are very thankful to have met so many wonderful people to learn firsthand what it takes to run a floating resort!

OUR ADDITIONAL TIP

My Tip For Kids: You can have the opportunity to meet the captain and crew for yourself!  Usually on the first formal night, there is a Captain’s Celebration during which the captain and his Senior Officers meet and greet the passengers.
My Tip For Parents: Bring your cameras! The architectural structure of the ship is beautiful and you don’t want to miss any bit of it. Adults will definitely appreciate how each room, hallway and section is built. I found myself asking a lot of questions, and you should ask a lot too! There’s definitely a lot to learn about the ship and the crew is very friendly and will be happy to teach you about the ship and how it operates.

My Tip For Grandparents: Don’t be afraid to ask questions. Carnival Cruise Lines has experienced guides that are prepared to answer every and any question you have. Consider taking a tour of the ship if it is available on the day of embarkation.  Even a self guided tour will help you get your bearings and get the general layout of the ship under your belt.  The staff will do all they can to help you and point you in the right direction if you get turned around.
