Our Experience While on Set

My husband Greg LOVES good food and my kids are little foodies as well so we were in culinary heaven at Boatwerks.  The food preparation and presentation was extraordinary and every dish tasted even better than it looked, and it looked AMAZING.  The best part of the experience was dining on the gorgeous patio where we noticed boats pulled right up to the restaurant!  This restaurant is steeped in history and incredibly popular so I would highly recommend making a reservation.

Our Additional Tip

There is a cute park and playground area right around the corner from the restaurant.  After your meal, stroll over and let the kids play while you enjoy the beautiful view of the lake.  The little walk won’t hurt to work off some of that meal!

Need More Ideas???

We did a lot of research for the show! Though we couldn’t visit every destination, we did want to show you what else we found.

Mouth-watering meals await you at Crazy Horse Steakhouse & Saloon!  The Crazy Horse has plenty of popular dishes like burgers & wraps (be sure to check out the Zeek’s Classic Burger, you won’t regret it!), as well as unique concoctions, like the Zeek’s Wet Burrito, & the Copa Cabana Chicken! Consider bringing some single dollar bills with you because there is a wonderful tradition at Crazy Horse…guests pin dollar bills to the walls of the restaurant and once or twice a year, the owner donates all of the money to a local charity.  Good food and good deeds, you can’t go wrong!
