Griffith Observatory
OUR EXPERIENCE WHILE ON SET
We started our visit at the observatory, but spent most of our time exploring the amazing hiking paths that meandered throughout the area. We made our way up to the top of a hill with an incredible view of the Hollywood sign and came upon a really fun group of people having a picnic together. They invited us to join in and I wish we had time to stay – they were definitely doing a picnic California style, with great food and local drinks. Next time we have to take advantage of such a yummy opportunity!
OUR ADDITIONAL TIP
What’s that I’m seeing through this telescope? If you and your family want to see the wonders of the outside world, check out the public telescopes! Once a month, amateur astronomers bring their telescopes to the Observatory to share their love of space with others. It’s a pretty awesome site to see so many people come out to enjoy the stars.
NEED MORE IDEAS???
We did a lot of research for the show! Though we couldn’t visit every destination, we did want to show you what else we found.
