Annenberg Beach House
OUR EXPERIENCE WHILE ON SET
What a find! The Annenberg Beach House was a step back in time to to the 1920’s when starlets mingled with millionaires at exclusive parties for the rich and famous. I recommend a tour of the beach house with one of the docents or check out the ongoing series of free concerts, lectures and gallery exhibits.
OUR ADDITIONAL TIP
Parking is first come first serve! The best tip we can offer to you is to come early and try to get your spot ASAP. The Beach House Grounds are open at 8:30 am and parking is open to the public at 7:00 am. Get a good night’s sleep, wake up early and sprint to your spot. The spaces are limited! There is also public transportation available via the Big Blue Bus.
NEED MORE IDEAS???
We did a lot of research for the show! Though we couldn’t visit every destination, we did want to show you what else we found.
If your family enjoys learning about historic houses, you might also want to check out the Doheny Mansion which was built in 1899. You can explore the opulent interior, considered a reflection of the original owners’ prominence in the area as oil barons. If you are lucky, you might be able to time your visit to correspond with a concert taking place at the mansion.
