Back on the Beach Cafe
OUR EXPERIENCE WHILE ON SET
By the time we got to the restaurant, we were all famished! The Back on the Beach Cafe was calling our names and the staff we above and beyond to help us all get fed quickly so we could get back to our filming schedule. It was one of those days when the schedule was, well, over scheduled and we were so happy to have delicious food in a beautiful setting, even if we had to wolf it down and get back to the grindstone. And the owner? Fred Deni is an amazing man – kind, generous and an all around good soul.
OUR ADDITIONAL TIP
Though an outdoor patio is available for dining, dogs are not permitted to join you. The city of Santa Monica prohibits dogs on the beach. However, service animals are an exception to the rule.
NEED MORE IDEAS???
“Every ingredient has a purpose” at Barnyard Venice. Behind Executive Chef Jesse Barber and General Manager Celia Barber, this restaurant has an atmosphere like no other. Similar to a barnyard, the front is casual, with padded seats, lime green pillows, and local art. Their vision brought soulful and rustic food options, along with small-production wines and beers to the city of Venice. Bon appetit!
