Cielito Lindo

Taquitos have such an interesting history…one connected to Olvera Street, where the restaurant was founded. The original owner of Cielito Lindo was Aurora Guerrero, a single mother of five children who was able to start her business with the help of a woman named Christine Sterling. Mrs. Sterling’s only requirement was that Aurora had to create something “different” to sell and that’s when the taquito was born!  When you go to Cielito Lindo, be sure to try the original recipe with the guacamole sauce – unbelievably delicious!

The main menu item is the taquito and you can even order their “combinations,” which include up to three taquitos, and your selection between guacamole, beans, cheese, chile relleno, or tamales!  Burritos are another top seller.  Honestly, you can’t go wrong with anything you pick.

We did a lot of research for the show! Though we couldn’t visit every destination, we did want to show you what else we found.

Looking for a great Italian restaurant while in Hollywood? Look no further than Miceli’s! Come for the good food, but stay for the entertainment! In addition to classic dishes such as linguini, spaghetti and fettuccini, Miceli’s features their famous pizza and less common varieties, like Buffalo Chicken Pizza, Clam and Garlic, and the Miceli’s Special (Pepperoni, Sausage, Meatball, Salami, Mushroom, Onion, and Bell Pepper). If your server seems to be missing in action, don’t be mad…she might be belting out a tune for the guests.  You see at Miceli’s, the servers are also singers! Who knows, the person delivering your pizza might be the next hit recording artist!  Be sure to get their autograph before you leave the restaurant just in case.
