Il Vecchio

OUR EXPERIENCE WHILE ON SET

We had a great experience visiting Il Vecchio! Food was served family-style and each meal was directly served from the pot it was prepared in. It’s always welcoming to visit a family owned business because we always feel like we’re at home. The atmosphere was really laid back and the furniture made us believe we were in a farmhouse in Italy. The décor was eclectic and the hospitality was incredible!

OUR ADDITIONAL TIP

At Il Vecchio, everything tastes fantastic. However, one dish that absolutely can’t be missed is the gnocchi (house-made potato dumplings). Sidle up next to the giant stone fireplace and enjoy a big bowl of gnocchi. You won’t regret it.

NEED MORE IDEAS???

We did a lot of research for the show! Though we couldn’t visit every destination, we did want to show you what else we found.

Flaherty’s Seafood Grill and Oyster Bar 6th Ave. and Dolores Carmel, California 93921 Located in downtown Carmel, what is commonly regarded as the seafood mecca of the Monterey Peninsula, Flaherty’s Seafood Grill does not disappoint. Fresh fish, an ambiance that’s comfortable and family-friendly.  It’s worth the trip!
