Surfing
OUR EXPERIENCE WHILE ON SET
Sometimes things don’t go according to plan so you have to be flexible! Unfortunately the first family that was supposed to join us surfing had some sick kids on the day of filming. Fortunately, the crisis was averted and the owner of the surf shop knew a family that wanted to participate. We were lucky that they were very friendly and flexible. The water was very cold and it was the family’s first time. They had a great attitude and had fun learning something new they could do together!
OUR ADDITIONAL TIP
The weather is beautiful throughout the year, but the water can get pretty cold year-round. We recommend that you wear a wet suit, especially if you’re going to spend a good amount of time in the water. Stay warm, be safe and have fun!
NEED MORE IDEAS???
We did a lot of research for the show! Though we couldn’t visit every destination, we did want to show you what else we found.
Pebble Beach – Golf Course 1700 17-Mile Drive Pebble Beach, CA 93953 If you’re a golf enthusiast or love beautiful landscapes, Pebble Beach’s golf courses are an area you should visit. If you want to teach your kids how to play golf in this extraordinary area, try the Peter Hay Golf Course. It’s the only 9-hole par-3 golf course open to the public on the Monterey Peninsula and is located across the street from Pebble Beach Golf Links.
