Space for Life – Insectarium and Biodome

OUR EXPERIENCE WHILE ON SET

Julia Gabriel from Nugglemama’s Handful and her family met up with us for adventures at the Biodome and the Insectarium.  I have to say, this is one of the most spontaneous families I have ever worked with and the kids kept up their energy for a LONG filming experience in both locations.  They were troopers!  I think the Insectarium was the most fun and the kids even participated in an insect fashion show – so cute!

OUR ADDITIONAL TIP

Guided tours are FREE! Each tour is 90 minutes to 2 hours, depending on which outdoor garden and attraction you choose to explore. Unfortunately, there are no reservations, but keep in mind that there are only 2 departure times for the tour. The first tour departs at 10:30 a.m. and the other is at 1:30 p.m. so plan accordingly.

NEED MORE IDEAS???

We did a lot of research for the show! Though we couldn’t visit every destination, we did want to show you what else we found.

The Botanical Gardens are another component of the Espace pour la Vie in Montreal.  The gardens offer a variety of activities throughout the year so kids can get hands on experiences.  There are themed gardens and a variety of greenhouses.  Don’t leave without visiting the sensory garden where kids can actually close their eyes and use their other senses to enjoy the smells and sounds around them…they can even touch the different plants! Fun!
