Fairmont The Queen Elizabeth Hotel

OUR EXPERIENCE WHILE ON SET

The Fairmont Queen Elizabeth is one of the finest hotels I have had the pleasure of experiencing.  From the moment we entered the lobby area, we knew that The Fairmont Queen Elizabeth was going to offer an extraordinary experience.  The service was impeccable, the rooms breathtaking and the location unbelievable! To make the stay even more enjoyable, we dined each morning in the hotel’s Bistrot-Bar area sampling everything from made to order omelettes to fresh smoked salmon and bagels.

OUR ADDITIONAL TIP

Fairmont The Queen Elizabeth is probably best known as the hotel where John Lennon and Yoko Ono held their famous Bed-In for Peace in suite 1742.  The highlight of this famous protest was Lennon’s composition of the song Give Peace A Chance which he wrote and recorded in the Suite.  Guests wanting to stay in the exact room where Lennon and Ono slept can book the Bed-In for Peace Package.

NEED MORE IDEAS???

We did a lot of research for the show! Though we couldn’t visit every destination, we did want to show you what else we found.

Have you ever wanted to sleep in an igloo? Well you can stay at the Snow Village and get the same feeling!  A family package includes special thermal sleeping bags, one hour of snowshoeing, and even cocktails for the parents and hot chocolate for the kids! You will also have access to the Snow Village attractions and the spa under the stars.  Now that’s a cool place to make some family memories!
