Poutineville

OUR EXPERIENCE WHILE ON SET

Poutineville is a charming eatery with a fun twist!  The girls, crew and I enjoyed making our own versions of poutine, a Quebec signature dish of fries, gravy and cheese curds.  At Poutineville, diners can choose their toppings from a long list making it completely suited to their personal taste.  We came up with some pretty awesome concoctions and enjoyed sampling each other’s combinations.

OUR ADDITIONAL TIP

The menu we received when seated was in French, but it is also available in English if requested.  We actually had fun trying to guess some of the words from the French menu.  If your children are learning French in school, you will be impressed by how much they can practice their language skills!

NEED MORE IDEAS???

We did a lot of research for the show! Though we couldn’t visit every destination, we did want to show you what else we found.

St-Hubert Rôtisserie was the first restaurant we got to try in Montreal and it was delicious!  Most of the crew ordered the rotisserie chicken as it is one of the specialties of the house and it was clear to see why!  The chicken was so moist and tender and served with two different types of slaw, a creamy version and one not.  The kids really liked the waffle fries too!
