Mi Tierra Cafe and Bakery

OUR EXPERIENCE WHILE ON SET

The crew was blown away by the beautiful, colorful interior of the building. Combined with the food, the whole crew felt like we had traveled to Mexico! Side note – make sure you stop by Mi Tierra’s display of day of the dead, which is located at the entrance of the restaurant!

OUR ADDITIONAL TIP

As you’re on your way out the door, be sure to stop by the bakery and grab a specialty dessert like a pumpkin empanada or pineapple biscuit. You can even order Mexican hot chocolate to go, the kids will love sipping on these sweet treats as you walk down the El Mercado.

NEED MORE IDEAS???

We did a lot of research for the show! Though we couldn’t visit every destination, we did want to show you what else we found.

This family style restaurant definitely lives up to its name and it’s great for all ages! The outdoor seating has you feeling like you’re right in your own backyard. The “Friendly” eats has a tasty selection of food to choose from, including specialty kid’s plates! You’re able to take your kids to this friendly restaurant and still enjoy a pleasant lunch in a very casual, relaxing atmosphere. While you wait for you food, your kids can play on the outdoor jungle gym and play area.
