Description
There is no lack of family friendly and majestic sites in Shenandoah Valley, Virginia. Colleen and the girls venture through the Luray Caverns, beautiful caves that were discovered in 1878. They also try some lavender tea while making lavender crowns at White Oak Lavender Farm. The girls have some fun at Massanutten Water Park and the Virginia Safari Park playing on water slides and feeding Bison.
Virginia’s history is rich too. The family learns what life was like in the 1820s at the Frontier Culture Museum of Virginia by feeding pigs and talking about children’s responsibilities in the 19th century. They also try riding horses at Fort Valley Stable, making adventures they will never forget!
